I’m Kristina McCalla, but you can call me Kriss. I'm a designer, storyteller, and community builder exploring the connection between home, belonging, beauty, faith, and purpose.

For a long time, I thought design was my destination. I love creating beautiful spaces, but over time I started to realize I was being drawn to something deeper. I became more interested in what makes people feel safe. Seen. Welcomed. Like they have a place.

That journey eventually led me to found Rooted Interiors and to the message behind The Home We Carry.

Outside of my work, I care deeply about community, service, and the places where people come together. And at the center of my own life is home—my husband, Anthony, and our two kids, Elliet and Oliver.
